POLICE COUHT Tuesdaj'.—Before the P.M. Tlios Moore v. Joseph Sutcliffe.— Alleged assault. Mr Forbes for plain ti(F, Mr Coouau for defendant. There was also another charge ng.iinst de fend ant that'he did throaten Thomas Moore. The Bench asked if the parties could not arrive'at a settlement. Mr Forbes said it would only be a waste of time, and he wauted to get 011 with the evidence. Defendant pleaded not guilty to boi h charges.
