SYDNEY. MONDAY, October 25. [Newspaper Article] — The Western Champion — 27 October 1880

SYDNEY. MONDAY, October 25. 1 An official telegram from Dirmagni raBli throws no further light upon the disappearance of Mr. Lamont Young's party. It has been shown that those who accompanied Mr. Young were all respectable, trustworthy men, and one was a friend of Mr. Young's from Syd ney. Two boats with crews have been engaged by the Government to further prosecute the search. Advices received show that a test shipment of a cask of oranges and lemons sent to England by the Cotopoxi in June last, arrived in England in excellent condition. The test is regarded as highly satisfactory, and will result in opening up a trade in those fruits.
