SYDNEY ASSESSMENTS It is , expected that the assessments of the unimproved capital value of Sydney being com piled by the City Assessor, will show a reduc tion of about £9,000,000 as compared with tlie valuations made in December last year, , but which were subsequent^ rejected by the Council.. Individual assessments in certain cases however will show an increase as com pared with the 1906 valuation, though these figures, are subject to appeal to the City -As- sessor or the Judge of the Land and Valua tion Court. The City Assessor is now working on the completion ' of the valuations and it is expect ed will have them completed before the end of next month.
