A FARMI NEAR SPRINGFIELD , AND TOWN PROPERTY—FOR SALE . fiUHE Farm is situated two and a half miles — west of Springfield , and contains 241 acrcs of excellent Land ; 170 acres of which are first rate Timber land : 70 acres of prairie are now in cultivation . On the Farm there are two good cabins , and the necessary outhouses ; an apple orchard of 130 trees , and 200 hearing peach trees . The Farm , which was one of the first ( located in this section of country , is under good improvement . WHEREAS application has been made to me , the subscriber , agreeably to the laws of the state of Illinois , touching the sale of sehoo lands , to sell the school landsin township No . 16 , range ninth , in the county of Putnam , State of Illinois ; and the trustees of said township having appraised and delivered to me a plan or plat of said school section—I shall offer the same for sale on Tuesday , the eighth day of May next , at the county seat in said county , at nine o clock A .
