The mam criminal cae is the one in which Peter Orth is defendant, lie is charged as being one of the robbers who bound and gaged J. S. llutchinson and wife on the nijjht of October 1 last, and then took XX) which was secreted in a bureau, llutchinson and his wife are old peo ple and they lire alone on a ranch southeast of Goodland. Orth was cap tured at Wichita a few weeks after the robbery and was brought to Goodland and placed in jail, where he was identi fied by llutchinson and his wife as one of the robbers. The other criminal case is that in which John White and A. J. Murphy are defendants, charged with grand larceny.
