Sir: I baro the honor to submit to you a short ac count of the recent revolution in this Territory, and a detailed report of the operations of the forces under luy command, consequent up-m the rebellion. About the l.)ii of December last I received infor mation of an attempt to excite the people of thi Ter ritory against the American government. This re bellion was headed by Thomas Ortiz and Diego Archuleta. An officer, formerly in the Mexican, ser vice, was seized, and on his person was found a list of all ths disbanded Mexican soldiers in the vicinity of Sinta Ft .
