Tho conductor of Uiat journal appears to have an exaggerated notion of ,§ho liberty of the Press. Wo recognise respcct its power and privilege to correct avSr*--^ roprcss immorality in whatever shapo it may present itself, but protei.t with indignation and disgust agaiust any abuso of that power and privilege, ns the abuse of a sacred right and trust. If the Border Post is to do duty as a popular educator, and is to be received into, and circulated amongst private families, I should advise those entrusted with the management of that journal to respect tho chaste and refined sensibilities of the pure and virtuous portions of the community, amongst whom it is received as a breakfast tablo intelligence, and not outrage every feeling of delicacy and ...
