HIGH SCHOOL PROBLEM SOLVED New Facilities at Red Hill and Rosebud At it- Friday's Council meeting, advice was received from the Minister for Education (through Mr. Leggatt," M.L.A.) that the opening of a: consolidated school at Red Hill. and a new pre-fabricated .multi-pur pose school at Rosebud (with Technical School facilities) should enable all new pupils to be accomodated at Frankston High School for the beginning of the 1950 year. This would render unnecessary the re-establislunent of 7-8 Grades at Frankston State School. The Minister Sdvised, also, that the matter of a new Second Pri mary School to serve Frankston East, -had been referred to the In spector for report. Cr. Fowler inoved that Mr. l eggatt be thanked for his co operation and expressed great nleasure at the results achieved. Cr. Webb seconded the motion,. "which was carried."
