A FLYING VISIT TO BOURKE. From the Town and Gauntry Journal we extract the following interesting account- of a trip from Dubbo to Bourke, oontributed by their ' Travelling Reporter t ' — FROM DUBBO TO BOUBRB. After the necessary preparations for the si art, the mail consh (a very nice owe. having an awnin? over the top) was driven up to the hotel to take us up. It was rather heavily lMden with mail bags, parcels, and fruit i the latter I waa informed was for Bourke, as tho people of that place never get any fruit excepting what ia brought from Dubbo per mail. We had also some heavy parcels, whioh I thought contained luxuries appropriate to the season, and oaleulated to produce a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
