Lancefield Licensing District COMPENSATION ALLOTTED. The licenses Reduction Board sat at Lancefield en Tuesday to determine the compensation to be paid to the seven hotels closed in the district. On Wednesday ajternoon the Board announced its allocation as follows : The compensation clains is con nection with the seven hotels deprived of licences in this district have .been in the main fair .and reasonable. Two of tho cases were taken at Woodend for the .convenience of the parties and the remainder heard at jLance fleld.
