Sie, —A case was decided at the Police Court yesterday, the importance of which, to op country storekeepers and squatters is con siderably greater than would at first sight appear. A licensed earner, J. Fitzgerald by name, engaged early in Apnl last to carry two loads of shearing supplies to Wotfang, near Clermoot. The agents specially agreed for hone teams at tite wen current rates, poisting out to the carrier that the loading was of tJiat description required on the station by a certain tune. The goods were taken away from the agents1 stores by tone teams, supposed to be the property of tile contracting carrier, but they were not wholly bis, as came out in evidence, one of the teams being lent him by a mate.
