THE COMBINED SERVICE. On Sunday afternoon a combined church service was held at the local in stitute. Prior to the service a proces sion was formed up at the soldiers' monu ment consisting .of 30 returned men, the local scouts and wolf cubs, members of friendly societies and Sunday school Headed by the Mannum Town Band, the procession marched to the Institute, where a large crowd was waiting to Join in the service. The Rev. F. C. Greig presided. The service opened with the -; hymn, "O God, our help." The Apostles' creed was recited by the congregation, after which Ensign Gould offered prayer,' closing with the Lord's Prayer, which was said by all present. The hymn, "O j Valiant Hearts," followed after which- the Rev. J. L. Bond read the lessons -and prayers. "The Recessional" was then sung. The Rev. D. J. The attendance, though " not large, was satisfactory, and the financial result was well up to previous years.
