PABNELL-TIMES COMMISSION. STAETLING DISCLOSURES. A number of lettera bare been received from the United States, which had been in the possession of clerks of the Lafcd League, as also seven others signed bj Mr Parnell. The bodies of these are sap posed to have been written by Mr Henry Campbell, M.P., (Mr ParnelTs private Secretary). Sight letters written to Egan were obtained from Figatt. A letter waB written by Bryne, stating that he received £100 from Mr Parnell, The limes paid £5 000 for the letters. A number of letters with forged signa tures were received from America, bat they were not ased. It is 88id that fllr Flanagan, son of an Irish Judge, who is a member of the Times Staff, Wrote "Parnellism and Crime."

BAKILNGA.. The weather is again very warm after the nice cool change we have had lately. To-day there has been a heavy north wind blowing, and the farmers are taking advantage of it for burning their mullin izing; large fires are to be seen in all directions. The stubble land does not seem to. burn wetl this year, as it is very tbin and the most of it harrowed off. Ploughing has begun on two or three farms and will, be general next month. Most of the farmers are just out of water, 'agaiojr.and the tanks will soon be heard rumbling along the road towards the Beetaloo stand pipe. . We are again having a visit from the resident Engineer, and be has set some men to sink some more trial pits on the ground of the proposed site for a reservoir. MINING. THE Motjsx RHINE SILYEB MINE.-A correspondent writes :-A. good deal of work has beep done at this mine, with most promising results, the development proving the exigtanoe of a permanent and paying silver lode. No. 1 Shaft has been sank a distance of 68 feet from surface, its size being 9ft bj 4ft and is all in ore from top ta bottom, the lode being com posed of soft gossan* galena an<l carbonate of lead, the width of lode being 5 feet. Assays of ore obtained from this shaft have yaried from 65 percent, lead and 16 oss of silver to as high as 64 per cent: lead and £4ozb of silver. , A vein of pebbly ironstone, 12 inches wide, was cat at abont 30ft from surface and carried down 20ft, producing an assay 48oas of silver and 1J ozs of gold to the ton. A drive was put in to cut bottom of No. 1 Shaft, and at 20 feet from outsine the lode was met, it tben being 'SO inches wide, 10ft farther m it was the whole width of the drive, and the abaft was at 58ft, being SQft from ...
