It may be in teresting to state the County Supcrin tendent had visited just forty-five schools and asked the teachers to pre pare for this work. This indicates the readiness with which teachers respond when the Superintendent has some definite leasibleplan to propose. Some of the things which appeared in this exhibit, are worthy of special notice: The drawing books, illus trated objects found on the farm such as fruits, vegetables, live stock and buildings. There were maps of the districts, county, state and continents. There were compositions on the cow, horse, sheep, swine and poultry be sides the "essays" on subjects of literature, history and so on.
