AN ORDINANCE, Iteming Show, Theatrical and other Performanc'j The Common Council of Maryvrille do ordain a* follows: That from and after the publication of this ordinance, no person «h»H exhibit any ehow, theatrical, equestrian, or other performance, without first paying lo the Marshal, for the City, a license tax a* hereinafter provided, under * penalty of fifty dollars for each violation. Theatrical or eireus performances shall pay, if permanently located, fifty dollars per month; for transient performances, fifteen dollars for each. Any person keeping a cock-pit shall pay fifty dollars per month, or ten dollars for each exhibition, where such exhibitions are itenerant.
