Preparations have been commenced In several of our churches for " Christ- inas trees." The old beef bones in front of the nmiket house aro becoming unpleasant to tho olfactories of waggoners who pass that vicinity. Ok Saturday morning there was a slight hail, and the weather in conso quenco thereof haB been colder than at any previous tima this fall. Land in this vicinity rents for five dollars per acre, in some instances more, but this is tho average price for the county.
