In commenting on this, we pointed out the injustice that was done to the man of limited means, who was forced into unfair competition with his more richly enilowcd neighbor ; we also sug gested that il the present, scale of fees were not sufficiently high enough to give adequate remuneration to the surveyors, that Government should take steps to increase the fees so as to place the surveyors above the necessity of either expecting or receiving further amounts privately from ...
