MAKE fODR DISTRICT KNOWN. Concerning some parts of the dis trict news comes hot seldom. This is not entirely our IV ill t ; we have no miraculous power of knowing what is happening at all the places within our area of circulation. It is the fault of rusulonts in the silent places. Will some inan or woman take the matter in hatul and cause the silence 10 cease. If no one is dr'int; it for your • lists ict, will you try c:i tV'se lines Send accounts of public and social invents in your township and neiLjh Jborhooil, such as weddings, deaths, (accidents, concerts, matters touching (district industries, etc. i Write the names of persons very distinctly. Don't bother about grammar or spelling ; it's the editor's work- to look- at'ter those trifles. The barest skeleton is enough. I Write only ou one side of flit jpaper. j Giveinformation ; but let criticism alone. Write your name and address or i-anie corner—not for publication jbut to prove good faith.
