Obituary MR. PHILLIP G. WEBB [Newspaper Article] — Frankston Standard — 8 December 1949

MR. PHILLIP G. WEBB Mr. Phillip George Hemming   Webb died at Hastings Hospital   on November 30. Mr. Webb, who had not enjoyed good health for some time, was an old resident of the district. His wife, three daughters, and two sons survive him. He was the eldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. G. O. Webb, Toorong Road, East Malvern. Mr. Webb came to Somerville   to manage his father's tile works, after purchasing an orchard prop- erty on Coolart Road. He was for many years a Director of the Tyabb Co-operative Trading Co. Stores and resigned on account of ill-health. In his young days he was a noted footballer, and played with Frankston and Has- tings team.   There was a large representa- tive attendance at the funeral on 1st December. Pall bearers were: Cr.
