CIRCULAR HEAD PRODUCE MARKET. [Newspaper Article] — Emu Bay Times and North West and West Coast Advocate — 1 February 1898

CIRCULAR HEAD PRODUCE MARKET, Stanley, Monday — Potatoes eased to £4 after the departure of the Sydney boat, and the market closed at that figure on Saturday. The tuber still comes forward in small quantities but the fall in price has caused some to stop digging. From this out fair prices will bring on a steady increase in the output. The grain crops have fared better than was expected. The wheat will turn out well. All available labor is snapped up and spare men are not to be had. The harvest is earlier than usual.
