POLITICALITEMS . VIRGINIA . —A second caucus of the Jackson member *) of the Legislature , was held on the 1-ltli ult . General Jackson was unanimously nominated for re-election . A resolution was then submitted nominating P . P . Barbour as a candidate for the Vice Presidency . Upon this motion a fierce debate ensued , which lusted until midnight , when the meeting adjourned until the next owning .- — The Richmond Whig wishes most sincerely that every intelligent man in Virginia had been at the meeting . If their Jacktronism had not been cured , we should have been ready to confess that it were vain to contend farther against a delusion which strengthen equal to the violence of the attack . It shall be the dnty of the commissioners court of each county to caus 3 a complete statement in writing , of the fiscal concerns of the eeuntv . to be made out attheir December term annually : i . n . i tbe clerk of said court shall keep said statement posted up , in his office for the period of one month at least , from the end of said term -. and for failing to perform this duty , he shall pay a fine of ten dedlarrs .
