The Prescott Arizonan of Septetn bcr 11 says: Relegate Campbell has, by request of a great many citizens of" Arizona, asked for the removal from oflice of John J. Gosper, Secretary of the Ter ritory. A lengthy petition is, we un derstand, filed in the proper depart ment of the Government. Charces, too, are not wanting. The Secretary is aware of these facts, has procured j another leave of absence to visit the East, and, perhaps, do what he may to stay proceedings. The route of the Atchison, Topeka and Snntn Fe Railroad lias been run bo as to leave the quaint old city of the holy faith nearly twenty miles in the distance. This circumstance has given rise to another corporation, known as the "New Mexico and Southern Pacific Railroad Company."
