Scores for the first administra- tion of the Elementary and Intermediate School Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills test were released last week. Overall, WISD had 91 percent of third graders and 78 percent of intermediate school students meet- ing the state's minimum standard for passing. "The district level at the third grade at 91 percent were exem- plary," Wylie ISD spokesperson Susan Dacus said. "Three of the six elementary schools were at exemplary level because they were above 90 per- cent. We're still working hard with the other children who have not passed yet.
