Advertise and Prosper. Hero are sixteen good reasons why you should advertise:— [Newspaper Article] — Cobden Times — 7 September 1918

Advertise and Prosper. Hero are sixteen good reasons why you should advertise :— 1. Money investigated in judicious advertising is like a boomerang— it ia bound to come back again with redoubled power, 2. The most results don't emne from the most expenditure. They come from the most intelligent expendi ture. 3. Advertise for business ; thon advertise to make it better, then advertise to keep it. 4. Sit still, and your business will sit atill too. 5. Advertising is not a necessity, neither is the telephone, nor the telegraph, nor the trim ; but they are mighty convenient when you want to get there quick. 6. There-is no trade, so settled hut a vigorous competitor may take it away hy advertising. 7. One or two insertions of an adver tisement seldom pay. It is the con secutive, continuon? and persistent efforts that win in advertising, as in the affairs of Im-iness. 8. Advertise as you eat—regular and at reasonable quantity. 9. Advertise just, as a farmer plants com, not a big sackful a...
