College Heads Visit Dr. Charles W. Stoddart_, Dean of the School of Liberal Arts, paid his regular spring visit to the Center Thursday, May 11, in the company of Mr. David B. Pugh, Supervisor of Undergraduate Centers. Dr. Stoddart met with a number of students to discuss their college problems. Mr. Edwin L. Zoller, Administrative Head of the DuBois Center, and Mr. Pugh paid a brief call at the Center on Friday afternoon, May 26.

Center Is Host To Conclave of Student Heads H. U. C. Welcomes Council Delegates The Hazleton _Undergraduate Center student council and student body play hosts today and tomorrow at the fourth annual Inter-Center Student Council Conference at which time representatives of the four other undergraduate centers of the Pennsylvania State College will come here to discuss their mutual problems in a two-day conference. Sixteen student representatives —four each from the Altoona, Du-Bois, Fayette, and Schuylkill centers—will arrive here Friday noon for the opening of the conference. Following their registration at the Center building, they will be welcomed at a luncheon meeting to be held at Walter's Tea Room. The organization meeting of the conference is to be held at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon in the Center library; this will be followed by several sectional meetings. Five Members Are Added To H.U.C. Faculty Five new faculty members have been added this year to the staff of the Hazleton Undergraduate Center, thus bringing the staff total to ten and tripling its size since the Center was first established here five years ago. Four of the newcomers are beginning their association with the Penn State undergraduate centers but Mr. Roy E. Morgan, the new assistant administrative head comes here after four years of experience in Center work. Prior to his _rtansfer to the Hazleton Center he served for three years on the DuBois Undergraduate Center staff and during his first year with the centers was located at Pottsville. Robert E. Eiche Former Head Comes Back to 'Old Homestead: Mr. Robert E. Eiche, former administrative head of the Hazleton Undergraduate Center and now administrative head at the new Altoona Center, will pay his first official visit to his "old homestead'1 this week-end when he comes here to attend the Inter-Center Student Council Conference. Both he and Mr. T. Stewart Goas, formerly a memiber of the Hazleton Center faculty and now assistant administrative head at Altoona, will accompany the Altoona Council delegation to the conclave. It was under the direction of these two former H.U.C. faculty members that the local student government organization was set up.

Increased Number Enrolled at H.U.C. A total of 119 students are enrolled for the present year at the Hazleton Undergraduate Center, making this the largest enrollment that the Center has ever had, according to the announcement of Mr. Coleman Herpel, administrative head. When the Center was organized in 1934, 36 students enrolled for the first year. Since that time, the enrollment has gradually increased until it has reached its present peak. The Center has now its maximum enrollment, according to Mr. Herpel, and unless some provisions are made for enlarging the quarter, no increase in enrollment will >e possible.

Mr. Stover Speaks To Hocus-Focussers Mr. Guy Z. Stover, head of the Penn State Photo shop, was guest speaker at the opening meeting of the Hocus-Focus Club, the H.U.C. camera enthusiasts' organization, held at the Center Monday night. Mr. Stover does 85 per cent of the photographic work at the College, and for the past fourteen years the Penn State Photo Shop has done all the photographic work for "La Vie," the offici _a l Penn State yearbook.
