Now horses in good working condition, at least, should al ways be Been on the premises rf a good farmer, but his gratitude towards these faith ful servants should not induce him, at any time of the year, to stall feed them. The butcher wants thick meat and 'plenty of tal low in the cattle and sheep, but the plow man looks for strong muscle, spirit and en durance in his team. The food and care of the different animals should be consistent with the ultimate purpose they are to serve.
