Philadelphia. April 21.— The Quay conspiracy trial ended this morning by 1 verdict of acquittal from the jury. The court room \v;is crowded when the ver dict was rendered and pandemonium broke loose when the foreman of the jury announced the finding of not guilty, The spectators, disregarding judge, jury and bailiffs, cheered wildly and then made a concerted rush upon Senator Quay, overwhelming him with congratu lations. Washington, April 2 {.—An astounding revelation 5 made here today by officials closely connected with he Secret Service Bureau, to the effect that a gigantic conspiracy exists to defraud the government out of ten million dollars by the substitution of counterfeit $100 silver certificates in one of the sub-treasuries of the United States.
