Dial Introo LATE FROM FLORIDA. Charleston, May 1. The following is an extract from a letter received in that city on the 27th tit. from a lieutenant in the army, dated Fort Dade, 13th April, and says : "Jesup has moved to Tampa Bay, 50 miles from this. The war is ended unques tionably. The Indians are coming in rap. idlyupwards of 1,000 at Tampa, ready to embark. There aro'in the nation 1,080 warriors ; the world estimated them at from 500 to COO. Their estimation of every thing here is in a wide proportion." Later from Texas. We have received files of papers from Houston of the 0th instant, and from Velasco of the 11th. The Herald contains at full length the mes sage of President Houston to congress on the meeting of that body.
