Within the last few years our county has been benefitted by many improvements of a public nature in which all our County Commissioners have had part and for the work of which all are to to be highly credited. During the last six years of Mr. Woodruff's term the follow ing bridges have been built, 54 in all Five of them in new places ; nine are built of wood ; thirteen are combination, and uurty-two are 01 iron.
