The result of the election which took place last week in the State of Now York, indi cates a revolution in public sentiment, unpar alelled in the history of elections. Mr Van Buron came into the presidential office on th 4th of March last with a majority of 28,272 in his own State, and now within one year, not only has this majority been entire ly annihilated, but more than reversed.
