By Friday afternoon 60 per cent of the deposit- ors had appeared, presented their claims and received their money. B t tonight 90 per cent of all deposits will have been liquidated. "A few depositors, who live in the country, do not seem to be in a hur- ry about drawing their deposits. One farmer is reported as answering over the telephone that he is too busy to come after his money, but will want it in a week or so. "In the meantime both the pres- ident and the cashier have been ar- rested for the violation of the State banking law and are under bond. There will probably be no loss to the State guaranty fund and no as- sessment required on other banks. Boosteritis, the new disease that has been prevalent in the Panhandle for a number of years has broken out afresh and is rapidly spreading to all the towns. Hereford has a hundred new cases but they are all doing well. The disease seems to attack new comers especially. Many of the old-timers seem to be immune. Three weeks ago a prospector land- ed in Hereford and on the third day broke out with a malignant form of boosteritis.
