Bettiss preached iq the morning to a very large and appreciative tongregation, taking for histhoeme "the prodligal son." In the afternoon the church was crowded by no attentive audience to heIlar the ren titlon of a service of song, entitled " Little tinnie," or "The sunshine of a sister' love" The musical portions were exceed ingly well rendered by the choir, and the connective ruding--wvhivh arevery touche ing in their character-were given in n masterly style by the Rev.
