July 10.'-A very enjoyable evening was spent at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. .Revels, on July 3 iby a f^ir gath ering of neigfoboure to celebrate a bouse warming to the new. arrivals. The evening's programme was con ducted by Mr.'Ralph Adamson, who kept ifiings lively and the guests were very mu'dh' pleased with tihe daning of Miss Sjjvee Revels, who danced the sheene .crnse and the sword dance; Miss Bevels seems to be a dancer of some note, and it is quite a long tijne since_such dancing was seen out this way;, we remember seeing something of the sort a few years ago, "when Miss Panne -Aspinall was visiting -frienfis on the blocks. Snipper was handed .round at 11 o'clock, after jv&ich Mr. Ad a arson thanked the donors for such an enjoyable evening. The guests wended their way home about-midnight.

Record Crowd at QuornJ The residents of Quorn and sur rounding- districts arose to the occa sion on Sunday last when H.R.H., the Prince of Wales passed through Quorn en route for Adelaide. Special trains'" ran <from Hawker and Peter borough, . containing; greSf-crowds to see the" Prince. Apart from these trains many folk were seen from Wil mington, Port Augusta, Bruce, Ham mond, and Other parts of the dis trict. About 3 o'clock a great crowd wis in attendance,'only too eager to endure a two-hours' wait to have a glimpse of the Royal visitor who was timed to arrive at 5.5 p.m. Most - -of the railway employees were working Sunday morning in pre paration for this event. At about 10 a.m. the members of the Quorn Corporation were decora ting the dais, and many visits were paid to watch the work in progress. The' decorative work was in charge of .Mr. J.
