Bolero. [Newspaper Article] — Narandera Argus and Riverina Advertiser — 27 January 1899

Bolero. We have had tho promise of n big rain this Inst day or two and it lonkod ns if Mr Russell's weather forecast had come alone &(' right, but it has cleared off and blown away again with another of those remarkable dust storms, which, on Sunday night, lowered tin temperature down to 46 degrees. However, we are thankful for small mercies, last week's rainfall registered 89 points, and at the Albion sawmills over 2ft of water went into the dams. Ploughing is again in full swing on somo of the farms and it is to be hoped that the farmers will be rewarded with a good season this year, nnd that we shall be able to pnt on reoord again, some of those good yields which this distriot has produced in former years. ___________
