COMMERCIAL. THE Lady Bowen, s., brings two dava later Sydney news. We quote from the Herald: - A further improvement in the relue of tallow waa noticeable at the produce eales held on 6th instant. 'Shipping parcels sold at an advance of about 10s. per ton, and one or two email lots brought even more than that. Hides wera con- siderably weaker, and a good number were bought in at vendor's reserves. Operators in mining shares are beginning to realise the faot that tba market is getting weaker every dey, and sales more difficult to effect. There was hardly anything doing thia morning, and not a sale of gold reported on 'Change. Copper commanda good inquiry, and there hoe been a further rise in mott of the Queensland companies. Drummond hore ad Tanned to 6a. 6d. i Peal Downs sold et 7i, 7}, and 7 j ; and Peak Downs Consola hare gone to 6s. 6d. Mount Perry brought 38s. to 89s., Normanby 19s. 6"d. to 20s.
