Ervlh* assistant cashier, and Alltson W. Harlan, one of the directors. There are twenty-nine Indictments in all. Banker Spalding is Included In all the indictments returned an d In fourteen of them he Is alone, Of the latter thir- teen charge Spalding with embezzle- ment of bonds of the University of Il- linois, and one accuses hlmof embezzling $131,000, funds of the university.
