Washington , Sept. 11.—The officialflispntches received hero, from General Sheridan,-regarding tho attack by Indians on Fort Dodge, stato the fact that, after the assault on the fort , in which tho Indians wore re< pulsed, several bands made their way into the fort with flags of truco nnd surrendered themselves to that officer. They stated that they had not taken auy part in the recent outrages on tho Plains, and professed a d6-sire to remain at peace. General Sheridan has askod for authority to transport them to somo locality whero they will not bo disturbed by hostile tribes. i
