The special pica entered by Patrick Hester was argued by Messrs. Ryon and Wolvcrtou on behalf of the, prisorcr, and by Messrs. Hughes and lluckalew for the Commonwealth. On Thursday afternoon Judge Elwell read his opinion deciding that the plea was not sufll cient, and that the prisoner must plead over again to tho indictment, to which ruling the defense took an exception.
