Madrid, Oct. 4. Further trouble haa broken out between the Meers and the Spanish garrison at Melllla, a town en -rthe nertltcrn oeast of Morocco. The Spanish authorities recently decided te add te the strength of their fortifica tions at Melilla. The work of constructing additional fortifications was begun and pushed forward as rapidly as possible. This incensed the Meera, and Monday morn ing a force of mere than 0,000 natives made an attack upon the Spanish gar rison, which numbered, all told, net mere than 400 souls.
