QUEENSTOWN CEMETERY.; -0- The trustees of the above cemetery held their usual meeting on Saturday, June 14th. The works committee ire ported that though the successful ten derer, Mr. E Jones, had commenced the work let him, he had not made much progress, and owing to a pressure of work had applied for an extension of time,which was eventually granted. A communication was received from Mr. H. Thomson, of the Oaks, Kinglako, offering to present the trustees with as many young oak trees as would be required to plant along the front fence of the cemetery, if fetched from his place. Or he would bring them down for. 10. After some discussion it was proposed by Mr. . Smith and seconded yMr. D.
