Private Korinan Lee,,one of Mr M Lee's four sons, writes to 'his father from Gallipoli as follows-Things have been much the same since I last i wrote to you excepting for a few more shells coming over our way ; but no damage has been done so there is nothing really that'I can tell you. I was speaking to F Tworney this morn ing, he is quite at home here and en joying it all. The big guns have been vervtl»usy this last couple of days, we cannot see the results of their shots but they must be doing some damage. The weather is very unsettled and I would not be surprised to see a heavy downpour, but we have got Our dug out pretty secure now and have an extra blanket so we won't be too badly off unless it snows, which I believe it does in winter. It is funny to watch the boys here during an artillery duel The shells will be bursting everywhere and some will be out watching for nose caps and shell cases to drop They don't think of the next shell ...
