The seleotion of six Candidates who are to oontest Victoria's Senate seats in the Liberal interest, should a double dissolution be Becured, is a manor of exceptional importance and interest. To say that the politi cal doling of the State is grossly miereprtBinti-d in the Senate, is to repeat a familiar truism. In 1010 and again in 19115, Senate votes were pretty equally divided between those who ran avowed Liberal and as avowed Labor candidates respect fully. Yet, when a Patty division is taken, only Senator M'Coll supports Ministers, whilst five Victorian Laborites swell the Opposition majority. Clearly that should be put'right. If victory is to be secured at the polls, there muBt be a "ticket" which every Liberal will loyally support. SUwell poople will regret to hear bf the death of Countable Georga Glover, whiah took place at Ararat yesterday morning. The deceased posaesned a kindly disposition which earned liirn a warm place in the hearts of all who knew him. The bite constable was well known in rftawell, having been in charge of the Great Western police elation some time ago.
