A Litigious Man Some'men are never satisfied unless they are engaged in litigation. One. of £ his kind had purchased' a small summer residence in the vicinity of New York. The stable of his neighbor was built close up to the line which! divided the two .places; and one of its w'ihdow shutters opened over the uewly-purcliased premises of our litigious gentlemen. Make it for Life)—During the present term of the Howard County (Ind.) Court, a man charged with grand larceny-gave satisfactory evidence that he was? unable to employ counciland •Fudge Brouse appointed H. H. Bennett, Esq., of Kokoiho,' to defend him. Bennettafter spending some time in; consultation with his client and in the examination of the case, found that the gjuilt of the accused would be clearly made out, and persuaded him to plead guilty to petit larceny. The court refusing to accept his plea, Bennett arose and said: ¦ . " Well, I reckon we can plead guilty co grand larceny* " . ' " Yes, " replied the Judge. ¦ " Then we plead- guilty to grand larceny, " said Bennett.
