A telegram from General Augur's head qatrtcn says the Indiana attacked ft Got emment train near Fort 0. F. Smith, on tho 27th nit- and vera rcnulsed with the loss of twenty killed. Ono officer and fonr soldlcri were killed on our tide. All the hostile tribes around Fort Thll Kearney are under the leadership of "Red Olond." and aro bent on war. Black Ilawk, a chief of the Utah Indians, farors peace. The Apache and Narajo Indians arc committing numerous outrages In New Mexico. Two hunters had been killed in San Latlo Mountains, and four others were missing. The Indiana drove on" thirteen thousand sheep, when the cltlrens pursued, and recaptured all but fifteen hundred.
