A Bell, for nearly twenty years a resident of this city and one of the most widely known and highly respected negio of the entire state, died alhis home on north Third street at 11. a. m Wednesday after suffering for mauy years from Bright disease, However he was full ofeneigy and no longer than two weeks ago was at his office looking af tei his business affairs Deceased was at one time wealthy but lately had lost heavi ly through land and bank inve stments though he had plenty left for his last days. He was ubout 65 years of age and past Grand Master of the Masonic Lodge of Oklahoma besides being promineut in other frate rnal orders, L. A. Bell enj )yed the respect and confidence not only of his own people but of the white people as well. He was intellig ent, polite and attended indust riously to his own affaiis.
