The Win trial is not yet concluded. Kvidcnco for the prisoner is now being htard. The trial of Emerson Etheridge is progressing before a military (Torn mis ion at Coluttbus, Ky. Alex. II. Stephens, late Vioe-Presi dent of the rebel Confederacy, has been released on parole and has returned to Lis home in Georgia. A great fire occurred last week at Belfast, Mainp. The loss is set down at about $200,000, the total value of prop erty destroyed being 8250,000, on which there was only $50,000 of insurance. A great storm on the Gulf coast of Louisiana and Texas, has resulted in large loss of life at Sabine Pass and other points. Nearly a hundred human beings were drowned, while one person lost 600 cattle. A horrible accident occurred on the Pennsylvania Central Railroad, near Lancaster, on Saturday.
