A human freak, with a heavy streak of coarse-grained Malhat ianism in his or her make-up, has had printed in the New York Post, -and kindly ( ?) reproducedby the Times-Democrat, with evident ap probation-a tissue of fables, foll ies and fallacies, taking for his or her cue the admitted myths, ro mantic legends, and lying tradi tions, that have been kept afloat, in the past, by visiting male pen ay-a-liners, and "wheely" female blue-stockings, who have sojourn. ed for a few hours in the town, and in that short time have mana ged to learn ever so much that never existed, save in their own fertile brains.
