DISTRICT COUàCILS ACT. PUGLIC MEETING Aï WILLUNGA. A large meeting of the rate-payers of the Hundred of Willunga was held on Monday last, at the Bush Inn, for the f-urposeof taking into eonsideradon the propriety of presenting a Memorial to his Excellency to appoint a District Council for the Hundred of Willunga, and tn define the boundaries thereof. ' Mr Norman was called to the chair, and stated the object of the meeting. Air Hewett in a very long speed;, in which he was called to order several times, moved " That a Committee be appointed to define the bounds of the district ; bat that the ra e-pa^ere hail tue District Councils Act J¿S one of a most liberal character, and pledge themselves to do all in their power to carry it into effect."
