A very busy time was experienced at the fortnightly meeting of the Koroit branch Red Cross Society on Thursday ifternoon, when there was a lar^e atten dance of ladies, and at the conclusion seven eases of goods were forwarded to headquarters, Melbourne. It has been arranged with the British Red Cross Sty. that all goods made and donations received jy Australian branches shall henceforth be used exclusively for the benelit of Australian soldiers. Mr. R. H. McMaster and the employees of "Woodlands" station have set an example which might be fol lowed by station owners and other em ployers of labor with good results, and the Koroit branch needs monetary support to enable it to continue activities.
