ENTERTAINMENTS. HERBERT FLEMMING COMPANY. [Newspaper Article] — Townsville Daily Bulletin — 20 July 1907

ENTERTAINMENTS. HERBERT FliEMMING COMPANY. The ? entertainment of last night In the Theatre Royal, when 'Mrs Gor ringe's Necklace' was presented, was a littliis conclusion to what must be regarded aa ono of the best scries of plays ever presented to TownsvlIIo audiences. The object of the author is to amuse and entertain, and the play, as presented last night, certuinly did that. Miss Beatrice Cay as Mrs Jardine's daughter was the 'bright, particular star' of. the company, and the audience emphatically marked their appreciation of her accomplished acting. iU Herbert Flemmins, ae Captain Mowbray, gave a capital im personation of the sciious, BtroniJ minded, high principled man, and his delineation of the part was an artistic triumph. The other characters wern most creditably reprencnted, and tho wliol.; entertainment was must success ful.
